My experience is that drying on the clothes line is MORE EXPENSIVE than the dryer!
1. ALLERGENS are removed in the dryer and added on the clothesline so it raises our families already expensive medication bill! BEDDING can NEVER be hung out doors if it is going on my kids beds! Or, hubbies for that matter! They only way I can do that is by running them on super high heat for 30 minutes after they have been hung out!.. And Yes from time to time I DO, do it that way!
2. Wear and tear on the clothes themselves… If you ever forgot your favorite black skirt on the clothes line over night on a full moon you know what I mean! That was a $100.00 Lesson I am not able to repeat! Whites YES! colors and darks NEVER
3. It takes more time and can not be multi-tasked! Self explanatory! I anm not an octopus and can not load the dishwasher while I am pinning clothes one by one to the clothes line.
4. Specific to me… I am allergic to the sun! I can not make a MAD dash to the clothesline to hang the clothes out. My Clothesline is on My Porch, but even there the sun shines through!
